• Liposuction: If your gynecomastia is primarily due to excess fatty tissue, liposuction techniques may be used. This involves inserting a cannula (a small, thin tube) through several small incisions to suction out the excess fat.
• Excision: If glandular breast tissue or excess skin needs to be removed, excision techniques are used. This may also be necessary if the areola needs to be reduced or the nipple repositioned to create a more natural male contour.
